The form "Տ" is a traditional Armenian symbol. In the image and meaning of "S" - the dragon (snake) represents kindness, wisdom, strength, protects against injustice and evil. Is the guardian of the sources of drinking water. In the Christian era, the use of the symbol was transformed with a religious connotation and acquired the meaning of the word "Sovereign" that is God (Armenian "Ter"). In the Armenian Highlands, a ceramic pot was discovered dating back to the 26th century BCE, depicting a dragons and birds. According to scientists, the dashes on the pot represent the number of days in a year. The complete image of these motifs is one of the oldest calendars in the world. Today, this pattern is used in the "VICHAPAGORG" carpets.
